2. GENERAL FREYBERG'S DESPATCH ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN IN LIBYA .

It was agreed that it was impossible to ask the New Zealand Government to withhold publication.

3. PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT's STATEMENT ABOUT “AUTHORITATIVE SOURCES”.

It was agreed that it would be necessary to discuss with the U.S. journalists what alternative phrase could be found.

4. MENTION OF PARTICULAR LOCALITIES, EG. SHIPYARDS, IN OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUÉS .

It was agreed that this practice should be continued.

5. WAVELENGTHS FOR WINTER BROADCASTING TO U.S.A .

Mr. Ogilvie reported that the Wireless Board had given the B.B.C. a wavelength, which, though not perfect, would probably be adequate.
