1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS.

2. “ BOMBER COMMAND ”.

It was agreed that 25,000 copies should be allocated to C.-in-C. Bomber Command, Admiral Carpendale to discuss details with Mr. Royds.

3. ARRIVAL OF WOUNDED PRISONERS OF WAR .

It was agreed that the Ministry should inform the press of the exact facilities which would be available at the port of disembarkation and what facilities for interviews would be granted subsequently.

4. LIGHTING IN DOCKYARDS .

Mr. Francis Williams to investigate a complaint made at the Civil Defence Committee about an article in the “Daily Express”.

5. PUBLISHERS ASSOCIATION .

It was agreed that guidance on specific points ought to be given to the Association by the Ministry.

6. APPLICATION BY A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC FOR B.B.C. SCRIPTS IN GERMAN .

It was agreed that this application must be refused so long as Members of Parliament were precluded from debating our broadcast propaganda to enemy and enemy occupied countries.
