1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS

2. CO-OPERATION WITH U.S.A. OVER BROADCASTING MATTERS

Mr. Ogilvie reported progress of conversations between Sir Noel Ashbridge and Mr. Gross. He suggested that the B.B.C. should offer forthwith to the U.S.A. time in the European service. The Committee approved the suggestion.

3. NEW TRANSMITTERS

Mr. Macgregor reported that an order had been placed through the British Purchasing Commission for a 500 kilowatt transmitter. It was not for the B.B.C. and he was making enquiries.

4. TOM HARRISON

It was agreed that Mr. Bamford should now reply to the Ministry of Labour's questions and that there was now no prospect of employing him in the Ministry.

5. ARRIVAL OF THE KING OF GREECE

Mr. Grubb to find out what publicity arrangements were being made and report to the Executive Board the following day.

6. DAILY MAIL'S STORY OF BOMBING OF OSLO

It was agreed that Duty Room should consider what publicity could be given to this story.

7. DISTRIBUTION OF OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHS

The Committee approved the proposals of the Photographic Division for giving wider distribution to official photographs.
