1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS .

2. HOLIDAYS AT HOME .

[X/285.]

The Parliamentary Secretary reported that a change in name from Holidays at Home Campaign to something like the “People's Recreation Movement” had been suggested by the Home Secretary. The Parliamentary Secretary was opposed to the idea and the Chairman agreed. The Chairman pointed out that the campaign was carried on largely by the local authorities, and he thought they would be disinclined to accept the change. It was agreed that the Parliamentary Secretary should discuss the matter further with the Home Secretary.
