2. ANNIVERSARY OF THE INVASION OF NORWAY .

[13/17/21/1]

Mr. Macgregor reported that the Norwegian Government had suggested that the anniversary of the invasion of Norway on April 9th should be marked by a talk in the B.B.C. Home Service. The Board recognised that acceptance of this proposal might involve the B.B.C. in similar requests from the other allies, but felt nevertheless that it should be acceded to.

Mr. Macgregor reported that this body was organising a Youth Week in the near future, and had asked the B.B.C. to support it. It was agreed that nothing beyond routine news reporting of this event was required.
