1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS.

2. RUSSIAN VISITORS.

The Chairman said that a proposal had been made to hold a fairly large scale ceremony of welcome for the Russian visitors to this country. (See Minute of 2nd May). The Admiralty had agreed to approach the Russian Embassy on the subject and had asked this Ministry for an assurance that nothing would be published until the men had returned home. The Chairman added that we were prepared to take steps to stop any leakage; and he asked Mr. Francis Williams to send a note to the Press.
