With the cordial endorsement of the Board, the Chairman expressed his satisfaction at the success which had attended the celebration of Red Army Day; congratulated the Controllers concerned, Mr. Royds and Mr. Gates; and invited them to make known to those members of their divisions chiefly responsible the appreciation of the Board.

3. LABOUR PARTY PAMPHLET ON INDIA

The Chairman enquired whether the arrangements for the circulation of Mr. Ridley's pamphlet on India by various divisions of the Ministry had at any time been referred to Controller level for a ruling on policy. Discussion disclosed that no such reference had been made, and those Controllers concerned were invited to secure reports from the officers responsible.
