1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS .

2. “LA MARSEILLAISE”

[FP/2090/111]

Mr. Grubb reported that the Editor of “La Marseillaise” was seeking the authority of the French Committee of National Liberation to publish his paper in North Africa. He was anxious that his subscribers in this country should continue to receive their copies, and therefore wanted permission to import the paper into this country. The Chairman ruled that, if authority to publish in North Africa was granted, there would, from this Ministry's point of view, be no objection to “La Marseillaise” entering this country.
