2. THEME FOR PROPAGANDA

At Sir Kenneth Clark's suggestion it was agreed that consideration of the paper which had been circulated at the request of the Planning Committee the previous night should be deferred until Tuesday, 10th June.

3. LIAISON WITH DOMINIONS OFFICE

The D.G. mentioned that Lord Cranbourne had suggested to him the need for the Dominions Office to be kept fully informed about items of news concerning the Dominions. 4. MR. MANDER'S QUESTION

The two possible ways of dealing with the Question to the P.M.G. about letters from Nazi Leaders were (a) to ask Mr. Mander to withdraw; (b) to answer that it would not be in the public interest to give the information requested. The D.G. said he would discuss the matter with the Minister.

5. CLIPPER PASSAGES

The D.D.G. promised to circulate within the office copies of a letter which had been received from the Foreign Office intimating that the sole means of securing passages would be through the Foreign Office, Lord Halifax and the State Department. Applications from the Ministry should, as before, be made through the Communications Division.
