2. BEVERIDGE REPORT: ABRIDGED VERSIONS .

Mr. Grubb asked guidance on possible local production by overseas posts of abridged versions of the Beveridge Report, in view of the temporary stop on the Ministry's acquiring copyright and making use of any abridged version already available and not officially prepared. The Board agreed that the desired permission to posts overseas be granted.

3. EXAMINATION OF M.O.I. MANPOWER.

The Chairman reminded Controllers that it would be advisable to have Directors of Divisions available for possible consultation during the examination of Ministry manpower on Tuesday next, January 5th.
