[F. 780/13]

The Parliamentary Secretary drew attention to a report in the Daily Express that the Ministry of Information had said that “Britain should see” the Russian film, “Battle of the Ukraine”. He asked if there was any basis for this report and, if so, who was responsible for making the statement to the newspaper. The Chairman invited the D.D.G. to make enquiries in the Films Division.
