Mr. Cruikshank said that an article in Monday's Daily Mail on the War with Japan was receiving quite considerable attention in the United States. It was agreed that Mr. Francis Williams should point out to the Editor that certain passages in the article, on “appeasement groups”, would have a damaging effect abroad.
