1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS

2. EXPORT STATISTICS

[X/75]

Mr. Cruikshank reported that a meeting of the Security Executive, tomorrow, will consider a request by the Board of Trade that the publication of Export Statistics should be resumed. The Board of Trade suggested that it would be admirable propaganda to show how much our export trade had suffered during the War. The Executive Board agreed that Mr. Healed should be asked to represent this Ministry at the meeting; but that any decision to publish the Statistics should be considered on the grounds of security and not, in the first place, as a propaganda theme.
