1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS.

2. SMYRNA FAIR.

Mr. Grubb asked for the views of the Board on British participation in the Turkish Government Fair at Smyrna. He said that we had taken part in the past mainly to counteract a big showing by the Germans. But he pointed out that it was difficult to implement overseas exhibitions on a large scale and would be particularly difficult this year. The Board agreed with this view and it was left to Mr. Grubb to discuss the matter further with the Board of Trade.
