Brigadier Neville reported that a statement would be made tomorrow in the House on the new regulation governing coastal areas, the provisions of which he outlined to the Board. The Chairman invited him to consult with Mr. Francis Williams on any necessary guidance for the press.

3. MINISTRY SPEAKERS AND THE BEVERIDGE REPORT . HP/24 Part E. (See Minutes of March 18th)

Mr. Gates referred to the Minister's reply to a parliamentary question on this subject, and asked for guidance in dealing with formal applications for Ministry speakers to address meetings on the Beveridge Report. The Parliamentary Secretary explained that the general policy on this subject was still under consideration; and the Chairman directed that any application received be referred for the present to the Minister.
