The Chairman outlined to the Board the directive issued by the Office of War Information to all its agencies for the celebration of United Nations Day, from which it was clear that the United States Government was assuming similar activities on the part of the other United Nations. It was agreed that in the light of this document the Ministry should proceed with its contemplated arrangements.
