1. REPORTS FROM SERVICE ADVISERS.

2. MINISTRY OFFICIALS IN CHINA.

The Chairman drew attention to the comment of Mr. John Dugdale, in the House of Commons, that the Ministry of Information officials in Chungking were “to a large extent Shanghai merchants in uniform.” He asked Mr. Grubb to obtain a statement from the Far East Division.

There will be a meeting of the Executive Board on Saturday, but not on Monday.

N.B. No Minutes have been issued since 16th May, 1944.
