2. PUBLICITY MATERIAL FOR NORTH AFRICA.

[FP/230/1/3/126/>]

General Tripp reported that a request for photographs; and newsreels had been received from Captain Taprell Dorling at Algiers. It was explained that a number of newsreels had already been despatched, and that general arrangements for the supply of publicity material to this area were in the hands of Foreign Division “A”. General Tripp was invited to keep in touch with Mr. Gates and Mr. Nigel Law, but it was pointed out that the transmission facilities were still not fully developed. The Chairman accordingly recommended that the Admiralty make use of their own facilities where convenient.
