SAMPLE 1536

This regional distribution of the sample does not represent the actual distribution of the population in the four regions. From the practical point of view, it was impossible to draw the relatively small sample of 1,536 from the four regions in correct proportions since the absolute figures for some of the regions would have become too small to allow of any interpretation. In order to avoid a possible regional bias, the figures for each region were weighted in the following proportion:-

West 12
East 3
South East 3
North and North East 2
