The Chairman drew attention to a report in the “Daily Express” which stated that a revolt in the Caribbean Islands was narrowly averted last year. The basis of this report was stated to be a State Department announcement released in Washington. Mr. Cruikshank was asked to obtain a copy of the State Department's document and to report to the Chairman on it.
